Shady Oak Farms is a family owned farm with three generations active on the operation. We transitioned from cattle to sheep in 2015 and have maintained outstanding quality. We strive to maintain our reputation as one of the best producers in Southern MN and build it through producing some of the best sheep in their breeds. Our farm is a proud member of the United Horned Hair Sheep Association.
About Our Livestock-
We specialize in trophy horned rams, but accommodate several breeds, and all our breeds are hair sheep. Hair sheep are known for their ease of maintenance, as shearing and docking are not necessary. We enjoy how well these ewes have been from a management standpoint, they are hardy and handle winter better than most beef cattle, are disease and parasite resistant, and have great maternal traits.

We do however ask that you be patient for a response as we do have very obscure work hours and may take a day to respond.
